IRS SEEKING NEW BIDS, MAY BOOST SPENDING

WASHINGTON (AdAge.com) -- The Internal Revenue Service, seeking new bids on its expiring advertising contract, which is currently handled by Cossette Post, New York, said it could spend up to $100 million over five years, a 20% boost, though actual spending is generally well under the maximum allowed. The IRS asked qualified agencies to submit their qualifications by Aug. 27.
