Mr. Yasko, who spent about five years at Droga5, will report to Johnanes Leonardo Co-Founders and Chief Creative Officers Jan Jacobs and Leo Premutico.
In a statement, Mr. Jacobs said, "Bryan completes our management team built for what we believe the industry will need over the next decade."
Prior to Droga5, Mr. Yasko worked at Publicis' One Team, serving as senior-VP and group account director. Before that, he served as partner and worldwide management supervisor at Ogilvy & Mather New York, working on brands including IBM, BP, Gillette Global and Johnson & Johnson during his seven-year tenure.
Johannes Leonardo, which was recognized on Ad Age's 2016 A-List Agencies to Watch, saw a 40% increase in revenue and 27% increase in headcount last year. The lifts were generated by account wins like Google Micro-Moments and Mondelez's Trident, which will transition from a project to a long-term global partnership.
The shop also recently brought on Greg Tebbutt as chief operating officer and Emily Wilcox as head of account management.
Johannes Leonardo has picked up 14 Cannes Lions since its founding in 2007, including the inaugural Cannes Mobile Grand Prix for Google's Project Re: Brief.
