SAN FRANCISCO (AdAge.com) -- Kinko's, the Ventura, Calif., copying, document and business services firm, has begun a review for its advertising account.

Kinko's hired Omnicom Group's TBWA/Chiat/Day, Playa del Rey, Calif., in July 1998 following a review.

Most recently, the privately held company has been pushing away from its copy image and moving toward a business-services positioning.

Kinko's last campaign, which ran during the Academy Awards broadcast, used the tagline "Kinko's -- We're doing more."

The company has 1,100 retail outlets globally. Kinko's spent $18.2 million in 2000 in measured media and $14.2 million for the first half of this year, according to Taylor Nelson Sofres' CMR.

Kinko's executives did not return calls for comment at press time.
