CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- Three contenders remain for Minnesota's 10-year, $80 million to $110 million anti-smoking account.

Finalists include MDC Corp.-backed Crispin Porter Bogusky, Miami, and Omnicom Group's BBDO Worldwide and Interpublic Group of Cos.' Carmichael Lynch, both Minneapolis, Jan Apple, the Minneapolis-based consultant handling the review, said.

The review was initiated by Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota's Center for Tobacco Reduction and Health Improvement, which is funding the campaign through a $252 million endowment the insurer received as part of the state's settlement with the tobacco industry in the late 1990s.

Havas' Arnold Worldwide, San Francisco; Ground Zero, Los Angeles; and BVK, Milwaukee, were cut from the review.
