CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- Yum Brands' Long John Silver's is extending its review process after hearing final presentations from agencies last week, the company said.
Continuing in the process
are Omnicom Group's BBDO Worldwide, New York, which handles Yum's KFC and Pizza Hut; and Interpublic Group of Cos. shops Foote, Cone & Belding Worldwide, Chicago, agency of record for Yum's Taco Bell, and Campbell Ewald, Warren, Mich., which is not a Yum roster shop but has several retail and franchise marketing clients.
Independent Cliff Freeman & Partners, New York, was cut.
Although executives for Yum Brands eatery earlier expected to name a winner shortly after completing the final round, they now say a winner will be named in another 30 to 45 days.
"We will have some more meetings before we make a final decision," said Mike Baker, vice president of marketing for the seafood chain.
