Seven Agencies Vie for Creative and Media Account
$300 MILLION LOWE'S AD ACCOUNT GOES INTO REVIEW
Incumbent Interpublic Agencies Will Participate
Omnicom Group’s BBDO Worldwide and TBWA/Chiat/Day and Interpublic Group of Cos.’ Deutsch and McCann Erickson, the incumbent, will vie for the account, which went into review in May. The Omnicom agencies are partnering with OMD, while Deutsch is pitching with its in-house media operation and McCann is paired with Universal McCann. McCann has had a free pass to the final round.
The four agencies are based in New York.
A winner is expected to be chosen by the end of July.
The review is being handled by consultant Hasan & Co., Raleigh, N.C.
A Lowe’s spokeswoman didn’t return calls. Agency representatives either couldn't be reached or declined to comment.
