Advertising will cover numerous mediums, such as print, radio, TV and outdoor, said Roxanne Jurtschenko, director of strategic communications for the Dover, N.J.-based maker of computers, watches and other electronic equipments.
The first campaign is expected to break in May or June, coinciding with Father's Day and school graduations. Ms. Jurtschenko declined to comment on ad spending.
Casio spent more than $2 million in measured media in 2002, according to TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.
Consultant Roth Associates, New York, handled the agency search.
