NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Marriott International assigned advertising responsibilities for its Renaissance Hotels, Resorts and Suites to Interpublic Group of Cos.' McCann-Erickson Worldwide, New York.

The account, estimated to have billings between $8 million and $10 million, includes advertising directed at both leisure and business travelers.

Earlier this year, Marriott tapped McCann-Erickson to handle six of its other brands: Marriott Hotels, Resorts and Suites; Courtyard by Marriott; Residence Inn by Marriott; Fairfield Inn by Marriott; TownePlace Suites by Marriott and SpringHill Suites by Marriott.

Siegelgale was the previous agency for Renaissance.
