Client Is PricewaterhouseCooper

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Interpublic Group of Cos.' McCann-Erickson Worldwide and Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, both New York, has have won an estimated $90 million account from PricewaterhouseCoopers' consulting unit, according to PricewaterhouseCooper.

Interpublic's Initiative Media will handle media.

McCann handles the accounting and consulting firm's business outside North America, while Hill Holliday has domestic business.

The other contenders were Interpublic's Lowe, also New York, Omnicom Group's DDB Worldwide, London, and M&C Saatchi, also New York.

The joint McCann-Hill Holliday effort is a significant boost to PricewaterhouseCoopers' previous spending. The firm spent an estimated $3 million on advertising last year, down from $23 million in 2000, according to Taylor Nelson Sofres CMR.
