DETROIT (AdAge.com) -- Nissan North America, Carlson, Calif., is expected this week to trim the list of agencies vying for its estimated $6 million African-American account from 25 to six.

Industry insiders believe many of the same agencies are also entering Chrysler Group's $40 million "urban marketing" review.
