NOVARTIS SHIFTS OTC BRANDS TO DDB UNIT

CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- Novartis Consumer Health said it consolidated ad duties for its over-the-counter cold remedies Triaminic and TheraFlu at DDB Worldwide's health-care unit, DDB Corbett.

The account had been at Havas' Arnold McGrath Worldwide, New York.

Combined spending on the brands is estimated at $20 million.

The Chicago-based Omnicom Group shop also handles professional communications assignments for Novartis' prescription-only cold-sore drug Denavir and motion sickness remedy TransDermScop along with the remainder of its OTC brands.
