NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- The New York City Health and Hospitals Corp., which manages 20 health-care facilities in the city's five boroughs, put its advertising account in review.

NYC HHC seeks an agency with health-care experience to assist with marketing and promotional initiatives. These include branding and corporate identification; design, production and printing of literature and educational material; advertising campaign strategy, design, production and printing; direct marketing; and media planning and placement.

The account will be awarded with a two-year contract with an option to renew for three additional years. Spending on the account is expected to be $9 million over the first two years; more money will be added to the contract after that.

The incumbent agency is Parsippany, N.J.-based Hyphen, formerly known as Harrison Wilson and Associates.

Hospitals managed by NYC HHC include Manhattan's Bellevue, Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn and the Queens Hospital Center.
