NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Tax-preparer H&R Block is moving its $80 million media business to Omnicom Group's OMD, according to executives familiar with the situation.

The move, which follows a review, comes just weeks after Campbell Mithun successfully defended the creative portion of the business. Campbell Mithun, part of the Interpublic Group of Cos., previously handled media duties for the marketer.

An OMD rep referred calls to H&R Block, which did not immediately return calls.

Separately, the CW network, the new broadcast network from CBS and Time Warner, handed its media duties to OMD, according to a representative for CW, which will replace the WB and UPN this fall. Billings were not available.
