Incumbent MediaCom to Participate

SAN FRANCISCO (AdAge.com) -- Oracle Corp. has put its $40 million to $50 million advertising media buying and planning account in review, the company announced today.

The enterprise software company said the account's incumbent, Grey Global Group's MediaCom, will participate in the review. Julie Gibbs, vice president of branding and creative services, said in a statement: "This is just part of our ongoing practice of reviewing our communications partners to ensure that we have the best resources in place."

A decision is expected in May.

Creative services remains in-house and direct marketing remains with GreyDirect.

Select Resources International, Santa Monica, Calif., is the consulting firm handling the review.
