NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- PeopleSoft is in the final stages of contract negotiations to award its $30 million global ad account to Omnicom Group's BBDO Worldwide, New York, according to people close to the review.

The decision by the Pleasanton, Calif.-based marketer of human resources software comes after a lengthy review.

Kirshenbaum Bond Partners West, San Francisco, defended the account finalists also included Havas Advertising's Arnold Worldwide, Boston and San Francisco, and Omnicom's Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco.
