Porsche said incumbent Carmichael Lynch, Minneapolis, which has had the carmaker's creative account since early 1999, will defend against the Martin Agency, Richmond, Va.; Cramer-Krasselt, Chicago; and four agencies in New York: Hill Holliday Conors Cosmopulos; McGarry Bowen; Anomaly; and SS&K.

The automaker said a final decision is due by late summer.

Porsche has declined to reveal the number of shops which were sent the request for proposals, although executives close to the matter said it was between 15 and 20.

ARK Advisors is handling the review.
