Chris Hall has joined SapientNitro as the agency's managing director of the Southeast region.
Mr. Hall comes to SapientNitro from BBDO, Atlanta, where he was CEO, earlier this year. He'd spent 14 years at the agency. Before BBDO, he was at JWT for 12 years. Mr. Hall succeeds Rob Milstead, who left to lead Acquity Group's Atlanta office.
In his new role, Mr. Hall will manage SapientNitro's Atlanta and Miami offices and will also serve on SapientNitro's North American leadership team. He will report to Alan Wexler, exec VP-managing director of SapientNitro in North America and Europe.
Mr. Wexler said Mr. Hall has "been able to drive business results and has built some strong relationships in the Southeast. ... Through the last 14 years I think he's done a great job of navigating some change in this industry. ... The impact of what digital is having on our lives and how people communicate with each other and how brands move from pure traditional [marketing] to more experience-oriented relationships."

Other recent SapientNitro executive hires include Modernista founder and creative director Gary Koepke, who joined the agency in July as global executive creative director of brand content innovation, a newly created role. In January, SapientNitro was named agency of record for the Boston-based restaurant chain Bertucci's.
