Spending on Brand Was $38 Million

By Published on .

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Masterfoods USA is moving the creative assignment for its Snickers candy bar to Omnicom Group's TBWA/Chiat/Day, New York.
The account move followed a review of roster ad agencies.

The decision follows a review of roster shops that included incumbent BBDO, also part of Omnicom, and independent Nitro, both in New York. TBWA handles Skittles and Starburst and other brands.

$38 million
Spending on the Snickers brand was $38 million in 2005, according to TNS Media Intelligence. The current tagline is “Hungry? Grab a Snickers?”

The agencies referred calls to the client, who confirmed the shift.
