TGI FRIDAY'S CLOSE TO MAKING CUT IN REVIEW

Four Confirmed in Hunt for $40 Million Account

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Casual dining chain TGI Friday's, Dallas, is close to making a cut in the review for its $40 million creative and media account.

Those confirmed as involved in the review are Interpublic Group of Cos. shops McCann-Erickson, New York, and Martin Agency, Richmond, Va. Kirshenbaum Bond Creative Network, New York; and incumbent Publicis Groupe's Publicis Mid-America, Dallas.

Interpublic's Lowe Lintas & Partners, New York, was rumored to have also been in the review, but a spokeswoman would not comment.

A shortlist will be released sometime later this month, according to search consultant Select Resources International, West Hollywood, Calif.
