Decision on $40 Million Account Expected at Year's End

SAN FRANCISCO (AdAge.com) -- Carlson Restaurants Worldwide Inc.'s casual dining chain TGI Friday's has narrowed the review for its estimated $40 million to $50 million advertising account to four shops.

They are Interpublic Group of Cos. shops Deutsch, Los Angeles, and McCann-Erickson, New York; Omnicom Group's TBWA/Chiat/Day and incumbent Publicis Groupe's Publicis Midwest, Dallas.

Select Resources International, West Hollywood, Calif., is the consultant.

Agencies are expected to make presentations the week before Christmas, with a decision by the end of the year.
