$15 Million Account Was at FCB

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Tyson Foods, Springdale, Ark., has shifted the roughly $15 million account for its Thomas E. Wilson brand from Foote, Cone & Belding Worldwide, Chicago, to DDB Worldwide, Chicago.

The Thomas E. Wilson brand, a line of precooked pork and beef roasts, was developed by beef processor IBP, which Tyson recently acquired.

Media for the brand under IBP had totaled less than $1 million last year, according to spokeswoman for Interpublic Group pf Cos.' FCB, but a large-scale effort was expected to break against the refrigerated meals early this year.

Omnicom Group's DDB already handles Tyson's existing brands, spending for which totaled $24 million for the first 10 months of 2001, according to Taylor Nelson Sofres' CMR.
