Agency to Create First Hispanic-Targeted Push for Retailer

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Gap Inc.'s Old Navy division hired independent Vidal Partnership, New York, to handle its first Hispanic-targeted TV campaign, according to executives close to the review.

was traveling and not available for comment; a spokeswoman for Old Navy was not available at press time.

Spending for the effort has not been determined yet. Vidal's first work is expected to air for the holiday shopping season.

The review, which was handled in-house, also included Omnicom Group-owned Dieste Harmel & Partners, Dallas, and Lapiz Advertising, Chicago, the Hispanic arm of Publicis Groupe's Leo Burnett, which eventually withdrew because of client conflict.
