Company Also Seeks Interactive Shop

By Published on .

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- MasterCard International, Purchase, N.Y. has pared its search for a promotions agency to four undisclosed shops and started a search for an additional interactive agency.

The credit card company is seeking an interactive shop to join independents Avenue A, Seattle and New York and Lante Corp., Chicago and a promotions agency to replace Ryan Partnership, Westport, Conn.

Both reviews are being handled by Morgan Anderson Consulting, New York.

Requests for information were mailed earlier this month on the interactive review, which is expected to wrap up in the spring; a decision on the promotions review is expected in about a month.

Spending was undisclosed, but MasterCard spent $147 million in U.S. media in the first 10 months of 2001, according to Taylor Nelson Sofres' CMR.
