WINE MAKER OPENS REVIEW FOR $15 MILLION ACCOUNT

Robert Mondavi Incumbent Dailey & Associates to Participate

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Wine marketer Robert Mondavi Corp. has opened a review for its $15 million-plus advertising account.

Interpublic Group of Cos.' Dailey & Associates, the incumbent, will participate.

Richard Roth Associates, New York, is the consultant.

Mondavi's longtime senior vice president at Dailey, Martin Johnson, has left.

The winemaker recently reported a 24% drop in net income for the second quarter ended Dec. 31.

Dailey's recent campaign for Mondavi's Coastal brand featured CEO Michael Mondavi, and ads for its Woodbridge label described the wine as being "an easy choice" to purchase because of its great taste.
