  • In our June 2001 cover story, “Echo Boomerang,â€? we incorrectly cited the number of adults ages 20 to 34 living at home. The correct number is 12 million. When 18- and 19-year-olds are included, the total rises to 18 million. In addition, the analysis illustrated by “The Early Bird Returnsâ€? chart should have been attributed to Frances Goldscheider.
