Phoenix Ad Club "Call for Entries"
The Phoenix Ad Club has come up with an unusual -- and alarmingly self-deprecating -- call for entries for this year's Addy awards competition. The spot, directed by Mark Trengove out of Blade Editorial, features a pair of delighted creatives frolicking outdoors as on-screen copy tells us that Phoenix agencies won absolutely nothing at last year's major awards shows. Apprentice villainess Omerosa makes a surprise appearance in the latest Burger King spot from Crispin Porter + Bogusky. Directed by Moxie Pictures' Martin Granger, the commercial shows BK's usual cast getting blindsided by an extra-aggressive Ms. Manigault-Stallworth.
