Bill Plympton Takes Off With New United Spot

Published on .

United "Signature"
Academy Award-nominated animator and veteran commercials artist Bill Plympton has taken flight with “Signature,” a new spot airing in Southeast Asia for Fallon/Hong Kong’s United Airlines campaign. Following in the footsteps of last year’s United campaign that featured the work of animators like Michael DuDok de Wit and Alexandre Petrov, the newest spot uses Plympton’s distinctive hand-drawn style to play up the benefits of business travel, as an executive takes to the skies to obtain a client’s elusive signature on a contract.
