ESPN Sets Up a Cinderella Story

ESPN borrows a bit of interest from its corporate parent Disney in the latest installment of the network's "Without Sports" branding campaign. Created by Wieden + Kennedy/N.Y. and directed by Jean Perramon of Santa Monica animation company Pepper Films, the spot features a clip from Disney's Cinderella with a twist thrown in just in time for the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, which begins next week. Rather than a glass slipper, Cinderella leaves behind a high-top, setting up the line, "Without sports, Cinderella wouldn't wear sneakers."
