FCB and Fox Spike Bland NFL Footage

Published on .

Can Bill Parcells turn the Cowboys around?
As the beginning of the NFL season approaches, Fox Sports and FCB/San Francisco have figured out a way to repurpose game footage into promo ads that are anything but ordinary. Five new spots set up the big stories in the NFC -- like whether Bill Parcells can turn the Dallas Cowboys around, or whether the Tampa Bay Bucaneers' Super Bowl season was a fluke -- with the anarchic use of animation. The resulting commercials -- three by design collective Brand New School and two by design and live action company Motion Theory -- are an exuberant and clutter-busting cross between traditional rotoscoping and street graffiti that are sure to get the faithful fired up.
