Ground Zero Frightens the Fearless for ESPN

Published on .

Ground Zero's new campaign for the Winter X Games on ESPN proves that while extreme athletes might be close to fearless, they're still not immune to a good scare. Directed by HSI's Joe Public, the spots show X athletes relaxing in their trailers, when something unexpected happens -- a hand comes out a bowl of popcorn, for example, or the trailer starts rocking uncontrollably. Naturally, these daredevils react just like the rest of us. Or, as the tagline says, they are "not fearless, but close."
