Lowe Delivers Anti-Violence Message for My Sisters' Place

Published on .

It's not acceptable from him. It's not acceptable from a partner.
In a new campaign for My Sisters' Place, which provides services and advocacy for victims of domestic abuse, Lowe/New York vividly delivers the message that violence is never okay. With scenarios that rank right up there, in terms of impact, with RKCR's "One in Four" spot for Womankind or Saatchi/London's "Cartoon" commercial for the NSPCC, we see women being assaulted -- both verbally and physically -- in everyday situations: at the office, in a clothing store, and in a restaurant. The premise of the effort, which was directed by Partizan's Dominic Murphy, is that violence that is tolerated in the home would never be tolerated elsewhere. "It's not acceptable from him," reads the tagline that appears after each unsettling vignette. "It's not acceptable from a partner."
