Palmer Jarvis DDB Demonstrates the Importance of Pets
Published on .
Get a pet, and leave your roommate alone.
Palmer Jarvis DDB/Vancouver -- which has brought us recent comic campaigns for B.C. Dairy and the Canadian Hockey Association -- returns with a clever effort for the British Columbia SPCA. Four new spots, directed by Hungry Man's David Shane via Vancouver's Circle Productions, showcase the importance of pets by showing what people -- friends, wives, roommates, sons -- aren't so good for. For example, kids can't fetch balls in the ocean, and friends don't like it when you pet them while you're watching TV. As the tag says, "Some things you can only do with a pet."
