Element 79 Partners extends its comic "We Know How It Is" campaign for Supercuts into a second year with a new pair of commercials that peer into the minds of men. In the best of the two -- both were directed by Hungry Man's Scott Vincent -- we see why the chain's stylists know how it is. As a man sits down for a cut, we see his girlfriend and his mother lurking behind a two-way mirror, offering suggestions. The girlfriend wants him to look like "a naughty little monkey," while his mother wants something more appropriate for a christening. We don't get to see if the stylist manages to please them both.
