MATCH SITE DESIGN TO GOALS: Often people get so caught up in implementing fancy bells and whistles, they forget their Web site's goals. If the goal is to sell, the site should be designed as a call to action to buy your product. Simple, easy-to-use sites that have a strong call to action will work better than really large, unfocused sites with all the coolest gizmos. Simply put, don't let your users forget why they're there.
