1105 Government Information Group debuts paid, mobile sites

Vienna, Va.—Washington Technology, published by 1105 Government Information Group, is launching an Insider Membership program that puts more than 70% of the brand's website behind a paywall. In addition, the group's GCN (formerly Government Computer News) is unveiling two new digital products, a new iPad app and a mobile-optimized version of gcn.com. The membership program requires paid members to log in to access original content, research reports and industry insight on bids, M&A, partnerships and trends in technology. Members will also receive a redesigned daily newsletter and discount offers to events produced by parent company 1105 Media. Sibling brand GCN introduced a new mobile-optimized version of gcn.com as well as an iPad app that provides access to new and archived monthly editions of GCN, which have interactive features and sharing options.
