1105 Government Information Group names Sheldon publisher

Falls Church, Va.—1105 Government Information Group named Elizabeth Sheldon publisher of Washington Technology. Sheldon recently served as director of marketing and business development at Goddard Claussen Public Affairs, a political consulting group.

Sheldon succeeds David Blumgart, who is leaving March 11. She will report directly to Jennifer Weiss, VP-group publisher.

Previously, she served as publisher of The New Republic and held sales positions at Congressional Quarterly and Governing. Also joining 1105 Government Information Group are Noreen Walker and Matt Lally, who will both be media consultants for both Federal Computer Week and Government Computer News.
