24/7 Media, Eyeblaster in rich media pact

New York--In yet another bid to build up its marketing software business, 24/7 Media Inc. has entered a pact with New York-based Eyeblaster Inc. to serve rich media-enabled ads across the sites of 24/7's b-to-b clients, including AT&T Corp. Eyeblaster's rich media technologies, which include audio and video, are meant to build brand awareness. The deal is the latest in a series of moves by 24/7 to compete with its better-funded competitors--including DoubleClick Inc.--on the ad-serving technology front. Last month, for example, 24/7 partnered with eStara Inc. to provide voice-enabled Web advertising and marketing services.
