24/7 Media to use geographic targeting technology

Published on .

New York--24/7 Media Inc. has signed a deal with Digital Envoy Inc. to use its geographic-targeting Internet software. The software, called NetAcuity, will allow 24/7 to target online ads at users in specific cities, states, regions and/or countries. "Our technology will give 24/7 Media the most precise geographic targeting capability available and allow them to further personalize their optimized messaging campaigns," Rob Friedman, chief business envoy of Atlanta-based Digital Envoy, said in a statement. While personalization technologies that target users by interests are common, geographic-based ones are less so.
