New York--War was declared in the ad-server space on Tuesday. 24/7 Media, New York, said it will launch in the fourth quarter a ``next-generation online ad delivery and management system.'' That means the company plans to compete head-to-head in the complex arena of Internet ad delivery with DoubleClick, New York, and AdForce, New York. In addition, 24/7 signals with the announcement that it plans to move its 300-client customer base, representing 2.5 billion monthly impressions, from AdForce. 24/7 claimed its system will feature integration with user online and off-line profiles and e-mail and list management modules, among other features.
