24/7 Real Media, Dentsu partner to bring SEM to the Japanese market

New York—24/7 Real Media and Dentsu, the largest ad agency in Japan in terms of billings, have formed a joint venture to provide search marketing services in Japan.

The venture, K.K. 24-7 Search, will be the exclusive provider of SEM services to Dentsu’s clients.

Dentsu brings its knowledge of the local market to the table, while 24/7 Media will license its search technology to the venture and provide search marketing expertise.

Jae Woo Chung, president of 24/7 Real Media Asia, has been given the added title of representative director and will lead the new venture.
