4A's launches media verification initiative

New Orleans--The American Association of Advertising Agencies Thursday announced a media verification initiative at the 10th annual AAAA Media Conference and Trade Show. At issue are inconsistencies between the ad schedules that run and the amount on the invoices that are billed by the media company. Renetta McCann, CEO of Starcom North America and chairman of the 4A's media policy committee, said the committee will join with other media organizations to create guidelines for media and agencies to follow that will address the problems.
