San Francisco—JiWire, a location-based mobile advertising company, released its “Mobile Audience Insights Report,” which found that 70% of C-level executives are using location-based apps on at least a weekly basis.
The report also found that more than half of business executives use apps on a daily basis. When traveling for business, executives most commonly use travel, weather and social networking apps.
The “Mobile Audience Insights Report” is based on data from about 315,000 public WiFi locations. The report also includes an online survey of about 2,000 U.S. customers randomly selected across JiWire's Wi-Fi Media Channel in the first quarter.
