Created by BtoB and sponsored by IDG, the award program is divided into seven categories: Best use of Facebook, Best use of Twitter, Best use of LinkedIn, Best use of viral video, Best corporate blog, Best closed community and Best social media integrated campaign (across more than one social channel).
Nominations from marketers and agencies are being accepted through Feb. 19. There is a $50 fee per submission, with discounts available for multiple entries.
BtoB editors will select a winner and runner-up in each of the seven categories. The winners will be announced in the April issue of BtoB. Editors also will choose their three favorite entries as finalists for the People's Choice awards, which will be chosen by online voters in April and announced at a breakfast in New York in May. Category winners and runners-up will also be recognized at the event.
