‘Financial Times’ names Bogler to head Medley Global Advisors

By Published on .

New York—The Financial Times has appointed Dan Bogler president and editor of the newly acquired Medley Global Advisors, a provider of policy intelligence to investment banks, hedge funds and asset managers.

Bogler was most recently a managing editor of the Financial Times. He also has served as Asia news editor, financial editor of FT Deutschland, and head of the newspaper’s Lex column.

Acquired earlier this month for an undisclosed sum, Medley Global is expected to enhance Financial Times’ services geared towards global financial institutions and asset managers, including FTfm, its fund management supplement, and Money-Media, a provider of online news and commentary for the fund management sector, according to the company.
