New York—Time Inc.’s Fortune unveiled a redesign with its March 4 issue.

“The new-look Fortune represents the latest iteration of the deep-dive business magazine founded by Henry Luce 80 years ago,” the magazine’s managing editor, Andy Serwer, wrote in a note explaining the changes. The redesign was overseen by Creative Director John Korpics.

The magazine includes two new sections, Careers and Venture, and it has several new columnists, including Becky Quick, CNBC “Squawk Box” anchor. The publication also has a higher-quality paper stock.

Hit hard like most general business magazines, Fortune saw its ad pages sink 36% to 1,523.98 in 2009, according to Publishers Information Bureau figures.
