New York—The Financial Times said Thursday that it will launch its FT Wealth magazine in the U.S. on Oct. 16.

The magazine, which is already distributed in the paper’s U.K., European and Asian editions, will be published quarterly.

The Financial Times said the magazine, which is aimed at readers with personal assets greater than $1.65 million (in addition to the value of their home), will in its first U.S. issue explore the impact of the credit crunch on currency values, examine whiskey as an alternative investment and feature an article on Muslim philanthropy.
