‘Waste & Recycling News' to relocate to Detroit from Akron

Published on .

Detroit—Crain Communications Inc. announced that Waste & Recycling News will relocate to Crain's Detroit office from Akron, Ohio, effective June 1.

Brennan Lafferty, who was named publisher of WRN earlier this year, will relocate to Detroit. Crain's other Akron-based brands, which include Plastics News, Rubber & Plastics News and Tire Business , will remain in Akron.

“After much consideration, we felt that WRN has its best chance for significant growth if co-located with many of our corporate resources,” KC Crain, VP-group publisher, said in a statement.
