New York—As expected, the board of directors of the American Association of Advertising Agencies confirmed the appointment of Nancy Hill as the organization’s next president-CEO. Hill most recently served as CEO of Lowe, New York, and prior to that was exec VP-managing director of BBDO New York.

Her appointment is effective Friday. Hill will succeed Burtch Drake, who has served as president-CEO of the Four A’s since 1994. Drake will retire on March 31 to allow for a transition period.
