A.T. Kearney to launch first brand advertising campaign

Published on .

Chicago--A.T. Kearney, one of the largest high-level consulting firms in the U.S., will on Thursday launch a brand advertising campaign, the first in its 75-year history. The campaign will consist solely of print ads in publications including Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Business Week and I>World Link, which is the fortnightly magazine of the World Economic Forum. The campaign is being handled by Chicago-based ad agency McConnaughy Stein Schmidt Brown, and will run through the end of the year. It will initially be limited to the U.S. and will be extended to Europe later in 2000. The campaign is targeting high-level executives. Some of A.T. Kearney's ads will take a humorous tack; one reads, "When a CEO stops thinking about business, there's usually anesthesia involved." Billings were undisclosed.
