Boston--Aberdeen Group Inc. on Friday issued a report recommending sales and marketing organizations use customer relationship management software and service vendors on a bi-directional basis. In its “What’s Next in CRM: The Learning Relationship” report, which Aberdeen began selling today for $495, Research Director Denis Pombriant said, “the entire CRM industry is becoming more relationship-oriented, [and] the nature of vendor-client relationships is becoming more bi-directional as new business solutions and technologies enable that shift.” Aberdeen is one of the leading technology firms in the area of CRM expertise.
